Silo-launcher facility for missile SS-24 «Scalpel»

Silo-launcher facility is high security fortification, which consists of reinforced concrete hermetic cylinder with equipment compartment, where the ground equipment of missile start and equipment supply, which provides long support the missile in ready.

Also silo-launcher have 120-tonne cover safety device, necessary to ensure sealing a mine and protect the missile from the damaging effects of nuclear weapons.

In the mine was a container with a missile SS-24 «Scalpel» (NATO reporting name) (GRAU designations is RS-22A (15ZH60) «Molodets»).
